'' Second Report from Final Kenton Service | Max-Attack.com

MaxAttack! raised the level of two wheel drive rally racing in the United States for the past few years. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsor during those years, Danza del Sol Winery in Temecula Valley, California, the Rallysports Group of America (RSGA) paid out a cash purse of $15,000 USD per year to be divided amongst the fastest teams competing in the MaxAttack! events.

A few final notes before the rally finish:

Brian Gottlieb, Driver, #466 Honda Civic
The evening is going awesome, this is a lot of fun. Night stages are challenging. I don't think I've run a night stage in, like, three years. I think at Mt. Hood the first year maybe, no there were two at Mt. Hood. One time I rolled. The dust was a problem on the first two stages, but they went to two-minute windows so it was really nice this time.

Chris O'Driscoll, Driver, #933 Honda CRX
I was driving good a couple times, then since we've been off the back we're just eating so much dust. In this last stage I guess I over-drove a 4 or something and just went straight off into the woods and high-centered again for a second time, so that took four minutes. So that sucked, but besides that we were driving good.

I am sorry the evening coverage has been so slim. I missed a service completely, and the Kenton service area is so spread out it is just impossible to find everybody.
