MaxAttack! raised the level of two wheel drive rally racing in the United States for the past few years. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsor during those years, Danza del Sol Winery in Temecula Valley, California, the Rallysports Group of America (RSGA) paid out a cash purse of $15,000 USD per year to be divided amongst the fastest teams competing in the MaxAttack! events.

Olympus MaxAttack! Pre-Event Update

-The drama starts early at Olympus. Last night, a fire broke out in the service rig of Brian McGuire and Jennifer Kraus. A quick thinking person in the parking lot grabbed a fire extinguisher, broke the window, and got the fire under control before the fire department arrived. Luckily, all the spares and tools for the #419 BMW 325i are safe, and the rig isn't too badly scorched. Let's hope the rest of the rally goes smoothly for the pair after a close call!

-On even the most meticulously maintained rally cars, sometimes things get by you in the shop and surprise you as you're shaking down the car at a rally. This happened to the #258 Honda Civic of Kris and K. Edward Dahl. Kris ran the car at the GRC Rallycross event in WA two weeks ago and bent a control arm. The team missed it until they got to Olympus. They got it changed last night and are ready to go.
